As another academic year comes to a close, we can all take the time to reflect on the accomplishments made and the obstacles overcome by Webster University students and faculty. Students have a lot to be proud of. In the last year, students groups have grown by record numbers and student involvement reached an all-time high.

Despite my long-held conviction that I would be a witty and engaging graduation speaker, I have been overlooked by the administration for my oratory skills. Instead, I will be among the hundreds of students sitting idly in the Edward Jones Dome at 10 a.m.
Webster should respect language at all campuses

In the spread or pursuit of knowledge, communication is key. So why would an institution supporting education and teaming with diversity act in ways which limit the exchange of ideas? What started with a simple e-mail has now morphed into tense debate at Webster University Thailand (WUT); complete with allegations of racism, discrimination and the administration's lack of trust in WUT's students.
Contentious groups can get along
