SGA approves sorority colony

Webster University has co-ed Greek life after the Student Government Association approved a sorority in a secret ballot vote. Secret ballots are often used for the election of new SGA members, not in votes on club recognition. University Center staff brought extra to accommodate about 25 people at the Feb.
Students push for new signage

In an effort to improve aesthetics, and to mark the boundaries of the home campus, the Webster University Student Government Association introduced a new signage proposal for 2009. The proposed signs will be banners that will hang from light poles around the university grounds.
Administrators reject off-campus dining plan

Webster University administrators rejected a proposal for an off-campus dining plan Jan. 29. A subsidiary of WU's food service provider, Off Campus Solutions, introduced the idea to the Student Board of Directors, who then wrote a proposal to administrators.

JANUARY 25: 2:17 p.m.: A student twisted an ankle in the Grant Gymnasium. The student went to urgent care. JANUARY 27: 4:24 p.m.: A fire alarm went off in East Hall. JANUARY 29: 7:22 p.m.: A student fainted at the University Center. The Webster Groves Police Department responded and the student refused medical transport.
