Author and Webster University 1995 alumna Alice Henderson published her third novel "Voracious" through Penguin Group in February. It's about a young woman with a special ability who is hunted by an unusual creature. Henderson now lives in San Francisco and is working on her next novel.
WU students restore houses in Mississippi

A group of 25 Webster University students spent their spring break temping as construction workers in the community of Picayune, Miss. The WU chapter of Habitat for Humanity was busy March 8 through March 14 building houses and helping to restore community spirit.

ONE Webster makes national top 10

ONE Webster has campaigned its way to a sixth place finish out of more than 2,400 schools in the semi-final round of the ONE Campus Challenge (OCC). "The ONE Campus Challenge is ONE's effort to empower, inform and mobilize the next generation of social justice activists," said David Lane, president and CEO of ONE, in a March 4 press release.
