Three Webster University bands performed at ONE Webster's Campus Challenge Concert on March 24 to show their support for ONE's campaign to end extreme poverty. The event, planned by ONE Webster and Campus Activities, took place in the University Center Sunnen Lounge, where the three bands each played about 30 minute sets.

Illphonics' new CD, "Sound," features ditties that will make listeners want to dance. The band celebrated the CD's release March 20 at Vintage Vinyl Records in University City. Larry Morris, a Webster University alumnus, took his sweater and dropped it on the wire-covered stage.

While many companies and university campuses are going green, it appears college students have a severe lack of a certain type of green in their lives - fruits and vegetables. "It's a food group that people just aren't comfortable with," said Connie Diekman, director of Washington University Nutrition.

A 2006 survey by Anheuser-Busch found that once students enter college, they are more comfortable asking their parents for advice, particularly their moms. Though the survey hasn't been updated since, many students at Webster University find this to be true.
