MENC holds fundraiser at Roadhouse

WU jazz students perform at restaurant to support VH1's Music Foundation

For the first time, Webster MENC, Webster University's chapter of the National Association of Music Education, featured WU jazz students, faculty and alumni playing live jazz music for a cause. Proceeds from the event went to the VH1 Save the Music Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that offers instrumental musical programs in public schools unable to independently fund their own music programs.

There was standing room only in the library conference room Nov. 24 for students, staff and community members who attended Namasté: A Nepalese Evening. ONE Webster and the Multicultural Center and International Student Affairs (MCISA) sponsored the event, which addressed child and maternal health in Nepal while showcasing Nepalese culture.
