David Kovaluk, a senior photography major and the club's president, sold treats like muffins, scones and Middle Eastern sweets from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 4
• Jabrina Simmons and Benny Roberts host Webster University’s Spiterature. Students and staff can come to listen or recite poetry and other original works. The event starts at 9:30 p.m. in the West Hall Multipurpose Room.
Friday, Dec. 5
• The Christmas Music of Mannhein Steamroller comes to the Fox Theatre for a two-day engagement. Shows are at 8 p.m., with an additional show Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets range from $37.50 to $52.50. For more information, call (314) 534-1678.
• See local folk artist Julie Schurr and hip-hop and R&B duet Dod-des and She at the second annual World AIDS Day Concert. Starting at 8 p.m., the show will be held in Webster University’s University Center. The event is free, but attendants will be accepting donations to benefit the St. Louis Effort for AIDS.
Saturday, Dec. 6

• Come to Cherokee Antique Row between Jefferson and Lemp avenues for the 25th Annual Cherokee Antique Row Cookie Spree. Over 25 shops offer free cookies and treats while shoppers search for gifts. • Come to Webster University’s Chainlink Theatre and Improv’s End of the Semester Show. The event starts at 9:30 p.m. in the University Center’Sunnen Lounge.
Tuesday, Dec. 9
• Curtis Roosevelt comes to Left Bank Books to talk to attendees about his book Too Close to the Sun, a portrait of his parents Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. Attendees can visit him at the bookstore at 7 p.m. For more information, call (314) 367-6731.
• Jagermeister presents Hinder at the Pop’s nightclub. The show, celebrating their new CD “Take it to the Limit,” also features Theory of a Deadman an, Trapt and Rev Theory. • If you missed Curtis Roosevelt at Left Bank Books, come see him at Webster University at 7 p.m. In honor of the 60th anniversary of the International Declaration of Human Rights. Roosevelt, grandson of Franklin and Eleanor, will speak in the Community Music School Concert Hall.
• Grammy award winner Shawn Colvin and singer of “Sunny Came Home” performs with special guest Garrison Starr at the Pageant. The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets cost $30. For more information, call (314) 726-6161.
Thursday, Dec. 11

• Steve Schenkel, a professor in the music department, and Ashley Mason host a concert in the Winifred Moore Auditorium at 7 p.m. to celebrate the release of their new CD, “A Midnight Clear.” Tickets are $5.
Tuesday, Dec. 16
